About
I'm a maker at heart who grew up immersed in electronics and automation systems through my father's company as a kid. As a self-taught designer and programmer, I've always been driven by the intersection of design, technology, and psychology.
This foundation led me to co-found Senic, where I served as CEO for over a decade after participating in Y Combinator's S13 batch. Beyond my CEO responsibilities, I led visual design, product management, and strategic partnerships with companies like Amazon, Philips Hue, Sonos, and Apple. Our work at Senic earned several awards, including the German Design Award and three Red Dot Awards.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of consulting for companies like Sonos, Gira, Osram, and Steelcase, sharing insights across design, technology, and user experience.
Today I'm co-founder of Roma, an AI task app, which is part of Y Combinator's F26 batch. Outside of work I'm an avid runner, particularly drawn to marathons, ultramarathons, and trail running.
As part of my work, I get to collaborate with many amazing people. In my experience, it makes collaboration more fun and efficient if you have an understanding of how the other person ticks. Everything below is written to serve that purpose.
